RV Owner Program

Earn Money With Your RV

If your RV sits unused for part of the year, Operation Recreation may be able to help turn that idle time into rental income.

We handle the rental side for accepted RVs, including listing support, renter communication, scheduling, walkthroughs, guest support, pickup and return flow, and post-trip review.

Example Monthly Potential

These are example ranges based on RV type, season, condition, availability, and demand. Income is not guaranteed.

How It Works

A simple review process helps us decide whether your RV is a good fit for the rental fleet.

1

Send RV Details

Send the year, make, model, length, RV type, photos, condition, features, and any known issues.

2

We Review the Fit

We look at condition, layout, renter demand, reliability, and whether the RV fits our program.

3

Talk Through Expectations

We discuss availability, owner use, maintenance, payout structure, rental expectations, and next steps.

4

Prepare the RV

If accepted, the RV is prepared for listing, photos, renter use, supplies, and walkthrough procedures.

5

Rentals Are Managed

We manage renter communication, scheduling, trip flow, support, and return review.

6

You Receive Payouts

Owner payouts are handled according to the agreement for your RV after completed rental activity.

What Affects Earnings?

The same RV can perform very differently depending on condition, timing, demand, and availability.

Season

Arizona Demand Changes

Spring, holidays, cooler weather, school breaks, and event weekends can increase demand.

Availability

Open Dates Matter

RVs with more available weekends and fewer owner-use blocks generally have more chances to rent.

Condition

Clean Units Book Better

Clean, reliable RVs with working systems and good photos are more appealing to renters.

Layout

Renter-Friendly Floorplans Help

Easy sleeping arrangements, bunkhouses, usable kitchens, and comfortable bathrooms can improve renter interest.

Downtime

Repairs Affect Income

Maintenance, repairs, cleaning needs, or owner use can reduce the number of available rental days.

Pricing

Rates Must Match Demand

Pricing needs to stay realistic for the RV type, season, condition, and market demand.

Income examples are not guarantees. Actual results depend on demand, owner availability, season, pricing, RV condition, maintenance downtime, and the final owner agreement.
Good Fit

Your RV May Be a Good Candidate If...

  • It is clean, reliable, and well-maintained
  • Major systems work properly
  • The layout is renter-friendly
  • You are comfortable with renters using the RV
  • You can keep personal items out of the RV
  • You want income without managing the full rental process yourself
May Not Be a Fit

It May Not Be the Right Fit If...

  • The RV has major mechanical issues
  • The RV has water damage or unresolved leaks
  • The unit is heavily personalized or full of owner belongings
  • You are uncomfortable with normal rental wear
  • You need the RV for personal use most weekends
  • You expect guaranteed income every month

Owner Responsibilities

We handle the rental flow, but owners still need to keep the RV ready and properly maintained.

Maintenance

Keep It Reliable

Owners are responsible for keeping the RV maintained, roadworthy, and ready for guests.

Disclosure

Tell Us Known Issues

Known problems, quirks, warning lights, leaks, or system concerns should be disclosed before rentals.

Owner Use

Block Your Dates

You can still use your RV. Owner-use dates should be communicated early so the calendar stays accurate.
